Privacy policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

What happens to your data when you visit the website or contact us, and how you can exercise your rights.

Controller and scope

IGLESCONS, S.R.L., with its declared domicile in Santo Domingo de Guzmán, Dominican Republic, is responsible for processing data received through its commercial enquiries. You can contact us at comercial@iglesias-construcciones.com.

This policy applies to iglesias-construcciones.com and communications initiated through the website about construction, architecture and consulting. Data relating to contracted projects, employees, suppliers or third parties entrusted to us may require separate notices and agreements.

Information that is processed

When preparing an enquiry, you enter your name, area of interest and message, together with the authorization you select in the form. If you send the email, we also receive the sender’s address and any information you choose to include in that correspondence. Sensitive data, passwords and copies of identity documents are not needed for an initial commercial enquiry.

Your name, message and authorization are required to prepare an enquiry using this form. Without them, no draft is generated. You may email us directly; providing additional information is voluntary.

To deliver and protect website pages, technical providers may process IP addresses, request dates and times, requested pages, browser and device information, connection data and security events. This technical information is separate from the text you type into the form.

How the enquiry form works

The form prepares a draft in your email application. It does not send your name or message to an IGLESCONS API or database. Your enquiry reaches our mailbox when you send the email yourself. Your email application may keep its own drafts and messages according to its settings.

The summary is generated in your browser. The copy function accesses the clipboard only when you select “Copy summary”. You may also email the commercial address directly. Technical browsing information described in this policy may be processed when you visit the website, even if you do not send an enquiry.

Purposes and authorization

We use enquiry information to respond, clarify requirements, assess the scope of a potential service and follow up on the communication. Technical data supports website delivery, performance measurement, fault resolution and prevention of unauthorized or abusive activity. Processing may also be necessary to meet legal obligations or address claims.

Where required, we request your free and express authorization to process enquiry information. The form presents it separately and leaves it unchecked. That authorization is limited to handling your request; it does not subscribe you to advertising. Browsing alone is not consent to other purposes. You may withdraw an authorization without affecting previous lawful processing or applicable retention obligations.

Who may receive information

Access is limited to personnel who need to handle the enquiry and providers involved in hosting, delivery, security, technical measurement and corporate email. Cloudflare supplies the website’s hosting and protection infrastructure and its measurement tool. Email services participate in delivering and storing correspondence.

We do not sell or rent enquiry data. Any disclosure to advisers, other parties or authorities must serve a specific need and have an applicable authorization or legal basis, while preserving confidentiality. An organization’s appearance in our portfolio does not mean it receives website visitors’ information.

Processing outside the Dominican Republic

Infrastructure and email providers may process information outside the Dominican Republic. Where a transfer requires authorization, it will be requested; circumstances permitted by Article 80 of Law 172-13 may also apply. We do not claim that all information is hosted exclusively within the Dominican Republic. You may request information about providers involved in your enquiry.

Retention

Our retention criterion is to keep information for the time needed to handle the enquiry or resulting relationship and for periods required by legal obligations or outstanding liabilities. There is no single retention period for every category of information.

Once use is no longer needed, information should be deleted, anonymized or restricted as required by applicable rules. Deletion requests may be limited by a retention obligation or third-party rights that must be protected. Providers’ technical records are also governed by their service settings and terms.

Your rights and how to exercise them

You may request access to your data and information about its use, as well as correction, updating, cancellation or deletion and objection to processing where applicable. Email comercial@iglesias-construcciones.com with the subject “Privacy and personal data”, stating the right you wish to exercise and the information needed to locate your enquiry.

We may verify your identity proportionately to avoid disclosing information to another person. Do not initially send complete identity documents or sensitive information. Exercising your rights is free of charge. The statutory period of five working days for access and ten working days for correction, updating or deletion will be observed in the circumstances and conditions provided by Articles 8, 10 and 12 of Law 172-13.

If you consider your rights have been infringed, you may seek relief through the competent courts, including a habeas data action under the Dominican Constitution and laws. Contacting us does not waive those remedies.

Cookies and tracking tools

The website does not install advertising cookies. Fonts and images are served from the website itself. Language selection is reflected in the page address and does not require a preference cookie.

Cloudflare adds a Web Analytics script to measure visits and performance, including load times and page rendering and interaction metrics. According to the provider’s documentation, this measurement does not use cookies, local storage or browser fingerprinting to follow a person over time. Results are presented in aggregate. Technical measurement is separate from your enquiry data and does not subscribe you to commercial messages.

Cloudflare may use cookies or technical security mechanisms depending on the functions involved in a visit, for example during checks against automated traffic. Not every such cookie is issued on every visit. You may manage cookies through your browser; blocking necessary mechanisms can affect availability or security checks.

If other analytics tools, advertising or uses requiring authorization are introduced, their purposes will be disclosed and appropriate controls or prior consent offered before activation.

Security and confidentiality

The website uses HTTPS to protect the connection. Processing must involve proportionate technical and organizational safeguards, access restricted to those who need it and confidentiality duties. No transmission or storage method eliminates every risk. Avoid including information unnecessary for your request.

Minors and external links

The website is intended for professional service enquiries and does not intentionally request personal data from minors. If you learn that a minor’s information has been sent without the involvement required of their representative, please contact us so the matter can be addressed.

Links to other organizations or external documents take you to services with their own privacy practices. This policy describes IGLESCONS processing and does not replace those third parties’ notices.

Dominican framework and updates

This notice is interpreted within the framework of Article 44 of the Dominican Constitution and Law 172-13 on personal data protection, as applicable. Its update date appears at the start. Material changes to purposes or processing will be communicated appropriately, with renewed authorization where required.
